Final Project Demo and Presentation

  • Presentation should be 15-20 minutes long including Q&A.

  • Each project group must submit the presentation slides and demo video to the instructor via email before the class meeting on Dec 2.

  • Cover the following topics in the presentation:

    Final Outcome

    • What did you ultimately accomplish in your project?

    • What vulnerabilities, attacks, defenses, or other technical results did you develop?

    Results

    • What experimental results did you obtain?

    • What is the significance or impact of your results?

    • What are the limitations of your work?

    Demonstration

    • Demonstrate the main technical achievement of your project.

    • Show that the attack, defense, or system works as described.

    • Explain what is happening during the demonstration.

    Contributions

    • What are the contributions of each project member?

    • What were the major technical challenges encountered during the project?

    • What did you learn from the project?

  • The presentation should focus on the final technical achievements of your project rather than repeating the project history.

  • A demonstration is required. You may use a live demonstration, recorded video, or a combination of both. The demonstration should clearly show the main attack, defense, vulnerability, experiment, or other technical achievement of your project.

  • If some parts of your original project plan were not completed, clearly explain what was not completed, why, and how it affected the final project.

  • Make sure to write the email in the following format:

  • Demo and presentation will be evaluated on: 1. The technical accomplishments and overall quality of the final project. 2. The quality and effectiveness of the project demonstration. 3. The quality of the technical results and their analysis. 4. How clearly the group explains the final outcome, limitations, and member contributions.
